PDF Is Above 15MB Limit
(Please skip to 00:22 in the video above.)
HelloCustom has a maximum file size limit of 15MB.
If you upload your design and get an error message that your PDF is above 15MB, this is not a problem. The solution is very simple.
PDFs keep their layers and all element's original sizes. As a result, PDF files can get very large very quickly.
To reduce the file size and maintain resolution, you will need to compress the vector image(s) within the design. This will keep the overall design the same resolution but make the images within the PDF less heavy.
If you have multiple images within your design, you may only need to compress the largest image or just enough to get the total file size below the 15MB limit.
Follow the steps below to compress the image(s) within your design.
Step 1: Take an image element from the design and upload it to an image compressor.
You can use the following image compressor site: https://imagecompressor.com
Make sure you are only uploading an image element and not your complete design.
Step 2: Replace the image in your design with the compressed image element.
Step 3: Redownload the design as PDF and ensure the size is below 15MB. If the size is still above 15MB, repeat steps 1-3 for a different image element.
